Anika Pinto

PhD Student.

My work is associated with BIG::Health. My research themes and interests include adhd, ai, co-design & well-being.

Anika is a part of the EPSRC-funded Centre for Digital Health and Care, supervised by Professor Kenton O'Hara and Dr. Paul Marshall.

Her PhD project focuses on co-developing a generative AI companion with and for adults with ADHD as a daily living support. Her research highlights the unique challenges faced by adults with ADHD and aims to create tailored digital solutions to support their daily lives, productivitiy and well-being. Anika is passionate about ensuring that neurodivergent voices are meaningfully involved at every stage of the research process and strives to achieve this collaboration throughout her PhD.

Before the PhD, Anika completed a BA in Psychology and Economics and an MSc in Clinical Neurodevelopmental Sciences.
