Timeyin Arueyingho
My work is associated with BIG::Health.
I am a multi-disciplinary researcher who is enthusiastic about improving healthcare systems in global southern contexts using technology, and passionate about bridging the gap between people, processes, and technology in the health-tech sector using context-oriented user research, and inclusive/equity focused design. My PhD research focuses on exploring decolonial and Afro-centric approaches that inform the use and co-design of collaborative digital health interventions (including mobile and web applications) for managing chronic non-communicable diseases like Type 2 Diabetes in Nigeria. My approach to research is multifaceted, as I draw inspiration from my pharmacy and management background, alongside anthropology and philosophy.
