My work is associated with BIG::Diverse. My research themes and interests include accessibility & inclusion.
Katherine Jones is an EPSRC-funded PhD researcher in Human-Computer Interaction and is a Bristol Interaction Group member. She started her PhD in September 2020. Her PhD studies how technologies support joint engagement for children who are blind or visually impaired and their sighted partners. Kath’s research interests lie in accessibility and the inclusivity of technologies.
Katherine has an academic background in Psychology, Teaching and Social work, having completed a BSc in Psychology at the University of South Wales, a PGCE at Cardiff University, a DipSW at Bristol University, a CELTA at the City of Bristol College, and a MSc in Psychological Research Methods at the University of Exeter.
Outside of the PhD, Katherine has many interests including reading, films, computer games, board games, knitting, crochet, crafts, the outdoors and nature.
