Roberto Montano Murillo
Research Fellow
I am a research fellow at the School of Computer Science, specialising in ultrasonic mid-air haptics, multisensory interfaces, human–computer interaction, immersive 3D interaction techniques, and multimodal interfaces. My work is currently on the development of advanced interactive systems that integrate visual, auditory, and mid-air haptic feedback.
My research interests include social touch, immersive interaction, 3D user interfaces, mid-air haptics, and human factors in emerging interactive systems. I have published in leading venues such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change, ACM Transactions on Haptics, ACM Transactions on Graphics, and ACM UIST, and previously worked as a Research Fellow with the Multi-Sensory Devices group at University College London.
