My work is associated with BIG::Diverse & BIG::Tech. My research themes and interests include cross-sensory interaction, fabrication, design research & human-food interaction.

I explore Edible Human-Computer Interaction (Edible HCI) through the notion of "edible computing", where edible matter becomes a medium for sensing, computing, and human experience. I aim to build interactive systems that are consumable, metabolizable, organic, and perhaps even delicious, to understand technologies that can be experienced through the full spectrum of human sensation: taste, touch, vision, smell, sound, and beyond, for a more sensory-rich, -compatible and -accessible future.

I am also interested in the opportunities that emerge at the intersection of art and science for public engagement. My work has been exhibited at the London Design Festival and Science Gallery Melbourne, and featured in media outlets including FRAME, Forbes, Dezeen, and ABC Radio National. I am also committed to bridging gastronomy and design research through co-editing special issues of the International Journal of Gastronomy and Food Science and the International Journal of Food Design.
